Who is eligible to apply for this insurance?
Vietnamese citizens or foreigners legally residing in Vietnam who have not left the country for more than 180 consecutive days before the policy start date.
What is the eligible age range?
From 15 days old to 70 years old. Extended up to 72 years old if continuously insured from age 68. Applicants over 72 will be subject to individual assessment.
Can children be insured?
Yes. Children under 18 must be insured together with their parent(s), and their benefits cannot exceed the parent's coverage.
Are there any health conditions that are not eligible?
Yes. Applicants must not currently have epilepsy, mental illness, cancer, or permanent disability of 80% or more.
Do I need to complete a health declaration?
Yes. Each insured person must complete an Insurance Application Form for individual risk assessment before policy issuance.
What is a Group Insurance Policy?
A policy issued to a company where the employer pays 100% of the premium. Requires at least 3 insured employees. Benefits for dependents cannot exceed employee benefits.
What is a Family Insurance Policy?
Requires at least 3 insured members, including a minimum of 2 members aged 15 or older.
What is the difference between IP1, IP2, IP3, IP4, IP5?
The main differences are Sum Insured and Territorial Scope. IP1 & IP2 cover Vietnam only; IP3 covers Asia (excl. Japan/HK); IP4 Worldwide excluding US/Canada; IP5 Worldwide including US/Canada with highest limits up to $500k.
Which hospitals accept direct billing with EliteCare?

Does EliteCare cover emergency evacuation?
Yes, all plans from IP3 to IP5 include emergency medical transportation and repatriation. IP3 includes transport to Thailand/Singapore; IP4/IP5 include worldwide evacuation.
Can I add outpatient or dental coverage?
Absolutely. Optional OP1-OP5 outpatient plans (up to $9,000/year) and dental treatment (BSO2) can be added when you purchase C01. Maternity benefits are also available.
How much does an EliteCare plan cost?
Pricing depends on age, plan level, and territory. For example, IP2 starts from ~$154/year for young adults (19-30). Request a quote for exact premium.
Can I go to any hospital?
Yes. For "Cashless Service" (no upfront payment), use our network of non-public facilities. If you go elsewhere, you pay first and we reimburse you.
How do I know you will pay my claim?
We are legally bound by Article 21.1(Time limit for payment of Benefits: PTI shall notify the result and settle the claim for the Insured, legal heir, or legal representative within a maximum of 15 working days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid claim dossier. Claim payment transfer time: within 01–03 working days from the date of receipt of the customer's confirmation). We must settle and pay valid claims within 1-5 working days of receiving your documents.
Is there a "catch" for pre-existing conditions?
We value transparency. Per Article 3: there is a 365-day waiting period for pre-existing conditions and "Special Diseases" (e.g.,cancer, heart disease, or tumors). This is why joining while healthy is critical.
